Exhilarating power
Experience exceptional drivability from the get-go with the Defender OCTA. Up to 750Nm of torque is on offer or up to 800Nm when Dynamic Launch Mode is selected. This allows the Defender OCTA to accelerate from 0-60mph in as little as 3.8 seconds.
Dedicated off-road driving mode
The Defender OCTA introduces a dedicated Defender off-road mode for the first time ever. OCTA Mode puts performance at the forefront giving you the confidence to tackle any terrain. With OCTA Mode, an Off-Road Launch mode is also enabled which offers maximum acceleration on loose surfaces.
Head-turning exterior
Since its inception, the design of the Land Rover Defender has become synonymous with confidence. However, the new Defender OCTA goes one step further with a bold new attitude.
Highlights include 33” diameter tyres which are the largest offered on a production Defender model. As well as a uniquely designed grille. This not only looks good but also improves performance by allowing greater airflow under the bonnet.
In addition to existing colours, two new exclusive metallic paint options are available – Petra Copper and Faroe Green.
For enhanced protection, you can also customise the exterior with an optional Matte Protective Film.
Immersive interior
New curated materials set the OCTA apart from previous Defender models. There is a choice of two highly durable Ultrafabrics PU options which are 30% lighter than traditional leather.
Upfront, Performance Seats integrate headrests and supportive bolsters for the ultimate in luxury. To fully immerse yourself on the road, Body and Soul Seat audio technology is available for the first time in the Defender.
Body and Soul Seat is a collaboration between music industry experts SUBPAC and Coventry University. It offers you and your front passenger a choice of six wellness programmes which can be felt and heard. This has been designed to create a more relaxing driving experience or help to improve cognitive responses.

A limited-edition model will be available in the first year of production – the Defender OCTA Edition One.
The curated specification is the epitome of tough luxury. It features an exclusive new Faroe Green paint colour and 20” forged alloy wheels. Inside, you’ll find a Khaki and Ebony Ultrafabrics PU and seamless knit interior.
