Vertu Worcester Citroen Colleague Takes Sales Manager Award

Georgia O'Leary, Sales Manager at Vertu Worcester Citroen, has been named Sales Manager of the Year (Small Retailer) at Citroen's prestigious annual awards ceremony: the 'Chevron Awards'.

The event took place at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park Hotel, just outside Cirencester, bringing together the best in the business to celebrate excellence across the Citroen network. Guests at the ceremony were treated to an inspiring speech from former England Rugby Union Captain Will Carling, who shared insights on leadership and teamwork from his distinguished sporting career.

Georgia's outstanding leadership, commitment to customer service, and impressive sales performance earned her this well-deserved recognition.

Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors plc, said: “It is fantastic to see Georgia recognised for her outstanding performance. The motor retail industry has historically been a male-dominated sector, and it is great to see talented women like Georgia leading the way and excelling in senior roles. She is an inspiration to many, and we are incredibly proud to have her part of Vertu and our Worcester Citroen team.”

Georgia O’Leary said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won this award. It is a real honour to be recognised amongst so many talented colleagues across the Citroen network. I love what I do, and this achievement is a testament to the hard work of my incredible team at Vertu Worcester Citroen. I hope this inspires more women to pursue leadership roles in the motor industry.”

Georgia’s award highlights Vertu's ongoing commitment to nurturing talent, fostering diversity, and supporting excellence in the automotive industry.

Georgia’s success also comes at an exciting time for the Vertu brand. Bristol Street Motors, part of the Vertu group, has rebranded to Vertu this month, drawing strength from its wider dealership network.

As Vertu, the automotive retailer has over 200 dealerships nationwide, representing more than 30 of the world’s leading manufacturers. Customers will see a new name above the door of Bristol Street Motors dealerships, but can expect the same great cars, colleagues and customer service.
