Vertu Brings EV Brand BYD To Gloucester
One of the UK’s largest automotive retailers, Vertu, has selected Gloucester as the location of its second BYD dealership.
The new Vertu Gloucester BYD dealership is managed by Robert Grant, whose strong leadership and team have previously been recognised and awarded for their exceptional commitment to excellence, outstanding performance, and unparalleled customer service.
Vertu’s new venture includes a state-of-the-art BYD showroom, complete with a robotic assistant, an excellent workshop and service reception facilities, supported by specially trained BYD technicians.
The addition to Gloucester will create five new jobs and will feature a range of BYD’s innovative vehicles, including the Atto 3, Dolphin, and Seal models – as well as the new Sealion 7.
Since launching in the UK, BYD has rapidly expanded its presence, becoming the country’s fastest-growing car brand, increasing sales by six-fold in 2024.
The dealership’s team will be assisted by a futuristic robot which will greet customers, offer bottles of water, provide introductions to each vehicle and its specifications, and showcase vehicle videos. As well as helping customers to understand more about the BYD range, it can also entertain them with songs and dances.
