  • Peterborough United join Bristol City as only the second team to win the Vertu Trophy three times, following wins in 2014 and 2024
  • Darren Ferguson is the first manager to win the Vertu Trophy three times having been in charge of Peterborough for each of their wins in the competition
  • Peterborough United remain unbeaten at Wembley across five games, with three Vertu Trophy wins alongside play-off victories in both 1992 and 2000
  • Peterborough United were undefeated in winning the title, with their last loss coming to Colchester United in the final group game last season
  • Peterborough United won the final with a starting eleven averaging just 23.18 years old
  • The final was the highest attended game with 71,722 watching on at Wembley Stadium
