Orders Open For Special Edition Renault 5 E-Tech
Renault has announced that the order book has opened on a special edition of the all-new Renault 5 E-Tech, with priority ordering for those holding a Renault 5 R Pass.
The Roland-Garros special edition – named after the venue that hosts the French Open tennis tournament – is the highest-spec version of the car to have been announced to date, putting it ahead of the evolution, techno and iconic models in the range.
Priced at £29,995 OTR, the Roland-Garros edition will be offered in four different colours, including an exclusive matte shade of Shadow Grey, whilst the Roland-Garros logo will feature in the Cross of St Andrew on the front doors,
There is also a number of interior details that will be bespoke to the model, which include special upholstery and further Roland-Garros branding.
The tip of the e-pop shifter is inspired by the grip of tennis rackets, whilst a clay-coloured wireless smartphone charger is a feature of the dashboard.
The Roland-Garros version of the Renault 5 has a 52kWh battery for a combined range of up to 252 miles (WLTP).
