New Dacia Bigster Hits UK Soil

The first Dacia Bigster has arrived in the UK ahead of customer deliveries starting next month – and was given a unique welcome by a traditional town crier.

Alan Myatt, Guinness World Record holder for being the world’s loudest town crier, welcomed the Bigster Journey Hybrid 155 when it rolled off the boat at Royal Portbury Dock in Bristol.

Following final quality checks, deliveries will start shortly to Dacia retailers to enable potential buyers to sample the car for the first time ahead of customers starting to receive their cars in May.

More than 500 people have already placed orders for the Bigster without even being able to see one in person over the past month after order books opened.

The Bigster marks the first time that Dacia has entered the C-SUV segment, with prices starting from just over £25,000 on the road.

Mild and full hybrid engines are offered alongside three different trim levels.
