- The flagship event begins at The NEC in Birmingham, followed by events in Exeter, Harrogate, and Edinburgh.
- Each event offers a look at the latest Motability vehicles from a range of manufacturers, with Motability specialists on hand to help.
- If you’re unable to attend the Birmingham event, not to worry. You can watch The Big Event via live stream on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May!
Motability’s The Big Event programme for 2024 has already been announced, set to welcome hundreds of customers once more.
Anyone who has attended a previous event will know that it offers a fantastic chance to explore all things Motability. From the latest Motability cars on offer to adaptations, electric vehicles, and more.

The Big Event 2024
As with the 2023 Big Event and One Big Day events, Motability will be heading to several key locations this year. These include:
The NEC – Birmingham:
Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May
9am – 4pm
Westpoint – Exeter:
Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June
9am – 4pm
Yorkshire Event Centre – Harrogate:
Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August
9am – 4pm
Royal Highland Centre – Edinburgh:
Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September
9am – 4pm
What can I expect?
If you’re a Motability Scheme customer but have never been to one of these events, here’s what you can expect:
- Car displays from a wide range of manufacturers.
- Adapted vehicles and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs).
- Powered wheelchairs and scooters on show.
- Electric Vehicle Information Hub for support with choosing an electric vehicle (EV), charging, and more.
You’ll be able to test drive vehicles to help you decide which one is right for you. Whether it’s a standard production car, adapted vehicle, EV, powered wheelchair or scooter.
Plus, you’ll be able to talk with a range of Motability specialists both inside and outside of the Motability Scheme. Including adaptation and WAV specialists.

When choosing a new vehicle, it can often be difficult to decide which one is right for you based on your needs. Especially if you are a Motability customer, as your needs may be a lot more specific.
The Big Event will provide you with all the support you need in one place, including:

- Expert support from Motability Scheme specialists.
- Information and advice on the various adaptations available.
- The chance to ask any questions you have about finding your next vehicle or Motability in general.
It’s also free to attend and you don’t need to pre-book. Just turn up on the day!
