MINI Celebrates Double Win at the 2024 Business Car Awards
The All-New MINI Cooper was named Best Small Car and Business Car of the Year.
Despite only launching earlier this year, the All-New MINI Cooper is already picking up awards.
It was honoured at the 2024 Business Car Awards, winning the Best Small Car and Business Car of the Year titles.
Business Car Awards
The annual Business Car Awards were held last night (19th September) in London. Each year the awards crown the best cars for business and fleet drivers across a number of categories.
Winners are decided by an independent judging panel made up of automotive and fleet experts.
Business Car is one of the UK’s leading independently audited fleet circulations with digital and print publications.
Judges praised its simplified styling, retro-inspired interior, and on-board technology. Not forgetting the impressive 249-mile range (WLTP) offered by the electric version.
Business Car said: “This year the MINI Hatch – now called the Cooper – received a high-tech makeover, but its premium feel remains unchanged, and whether you choose ICE or EV power, all are great to drive. Add this all up, with the Electric version’s credible range, and this is an attractive small car package that will really appeal to fleet.”
All-New MINI Cooper
With petrol and electric powertrains, the All-New MINI Cooper caters to a wide range of drivers.
Retaining the iconic MINI charm, the exterior now boasts a minimalist and futuristic design.
Highlights include a distinctive octagonal front grille, contrast roof colouring, and sleek 16 or 18” alloy wheels. While triangular lights at the rear boast a pixelated Union Jack motif in keeping with MINI’s heritage.
Step inside the interior and this is where you’ll notice the biggest change compared to previous models. The cabin is clutter free with a large circular OLED display which serves as both the infotainment and instrument cluster.
Two trim levels are available on the electric version - E and SE. The New All-Electric MINI Cooper E has a 40.7kWh battery which offers a maximum range of up to 190 miles (WLTP). Using a fast charger, you can power the battery from 10-80% in 28 minutes. To power up fully at home will take around four and a half hours.
Whereas the New All-Electric MINI Cooper SE has a slightly larger 54.2kWh battery with a maximum range of up to 250 miles (WLTP). This can be charged from 10-80% in around 30 minutes. If you prefer to charge at home, you can gain a full charge in just over five hours.
There’s also up to 800 litres of boot space on offer when the rear seats are folded down to make room for all your essential items.
If you prefer petrol, you can expect to achieve between 45-48mpg combined with the option of three trim levels. These include Classic, Sport, and Exclusive.
