Meet The All-New Toyota Yaris Cross Dynamic
Toyota has now revealed the all-new Yaris Cross, which displays its authentic SUV character in the Dynamic grade model.
This version of the popular hybrid SUV has a distinctly different character from the Excel model, which was first shown at the Yaris Cross’s world premiere last year.
Find out what makes it special, here:
Design
The Dynamic grade furthers the Yaris Cross’s suitability for life beyond city streets. The all-new Toyota Yaris Cross Dynamic is built for time spent exploring and enjoying the great outdoors and open roads.
The Yaris Cross Dynamic’s ruggedness can be seen in the front under-run and lower bumper protection plate at the rear.
The Dynamic specification also hosts a set of silver roof rails and 18-inch wheels with a dark grey finish.
Interior
Inside the Yaris Cross Dynamic’s cabin, expect premium piano black trim details and a black headlining.
The all-new model’s supportive seats are upholstered in a supple, leather-like material with a specific Dynamic pattern and there is a deco line running across the black, soft-touch instrument panel and inner door mouldings, finished in Yaris Cross’s signature Warm Gold colour.
Leather is then used for the steering wheel and shift lever gaiter, giving the interior a really nice finishing touch.
The Premiere Edition
If you’d like to take the Yaris Cross Dynamic one step further, the all-new Premiere Edition is its ultimate version.
The Premier Edition’s exclusive features include leather seat upholstery, special-design 18-inch machined alloy wheels and a power tailgate with kick-sensor for hands-free operation.
The variant also provides a head-up display and a bi-tone paint finish with range of colour options.
Only sold for a limited time, the Premiere Edition will just be available to purchase during the first 12 months of Yaris Cross sales.
Drive
Although it’s founded by the same Toyota modular GA-B platform as the new Yaris hatchback, the all-new Yaris Cross has a higher driving position and increased ground clearance, true to its genuine SUV status.
It joins Toyota’s growing hybrid SUV range, alongside the incredibly popular RAV4 – the world’s original and best-selling recreational SUV.
Toyota also boasts the new seven-seat Highlander and the C-HR compact crossover, as equally impressive SUV options.
The Yaris Cross’s platform gives it fundamental high body rigidity, a low centre of gravity and a well-balanced chassis, ensuring agile and sure-footed handling and excellent ride comfort.
The hybrid powertrain is based on Toyota’s 114bhp 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle fourth generation system which debuted in the new Yaris hatchback.
Its exceptional efficiency is expected to offer low CO2 emissions and a generous all-electric driving capability.
Advanced Equipment Available
With the Toyota Yaris Cross, expect to be able to specify a number of sophisticated and advanced equipment features.
Advanced options include (available according to grade) intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD-i), wireless mobile device connectivity with Toyota Smart Connect, plus a Toyota Teammate Advanced Park automated parking system.
Set to reach UK shores later this year, more details on the all-new Yaris Cross Dynamic will be revealed by Toyota soon.
