Meet The All-New Hybrid Honda HR-V
Honda has now fully revealed their latest generation of the popular HR-V compact SUV.
The refreshed model will be available with a powerful and responsive two-motor e:HEV powertrain as standard for the first time.
The self-charging HR-V is set to deliver exceptional hybrid efficiency and advanced safety and technology features, all incorporated into a bold and sleek coupe-inspired form intended to enhance the class-leading interior space and comfort the vehicle is known for.
The upcoming Honda HR-V will be the latest additional model to Honda's e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) line-up. This follows the refreshed CR-V and the brand-new Jazz and Jazz Crosstar that launched in 2020.
The highly anticipated HR-V expands Honda's electrified model range, as the brand moves further towards its goal of electrifying all of its European mainstream models by 2022.
Honda is making sure that as it edges towards completing this mission, its models’ design and capabilities also reflect the modern market and offer everything a growing family would want from their SUV today.
Design
The new Honda HR-V is set to boast premium SUV styling throughout.
Despite coming in a compact coupe-inspired design, the HR-V e:HEV sports a distinctive and confident SUV presence.
It definitely embodies Honda’s seamless, clean, modern design philosophy seen in other recent new models. It’s clear the brand wants to blend a bold and outstanding SUV stance, with undeniable practicality and function for a family.
The HR-V’s new design includes a stand-out integrated grille, while the body shape includes a long bonnet and sharper, more vertical sides - ensuring there’s no impact on interior space.
The bonnet centre is low and flat, with a shoulder line that flows to the base of the A-pillars, projecting a sense of stability and security that further enhances the SUV aesthetic.
From the exterior, the HR-V definitely looks the part to tackle a busy schedule, but what’s it like inside?
Fit For Your Family
The new Honda HR-V comes with exceptional space, comfort and utility.
Looking very good on your school-run or daily commute, it achieves a compelling combination of premium SUV styling and exceptional spaciousness, thanks to the clever packaging of its hybrid drivetrain components.
Similar to the HR-V we know and love, the updated model will also deliver class-leading space, with enough room for four adults, or two adults and three children, to sit in maximum comfort.
Although the all-new Honda HR-V is family-proof, it's still to offer up a premium SUV feel. The next HR-V will come with a state-of-the-art infotainment system, contemporary fabrics and soft-touch materials, to keep even the most hard-to-please teenagers happy.
The modern minimalist aesthetic, which is initiated by the horizontal sweep of the instrument panel, is the result of an uncluttered interior and dashboard, with each element carefully positioned to contribute to the sense of space.
The feeling of airiness and space is elevated by a new air diffusion system that creates a curtain of fresh air beside and above passengers, flowing from unique L-shaped vents positioned in the top corners of the dashboard.
Thanks to Honda's compact, integrated powertrain technology and centre tank layout, the reborn HR-V also keeps the brand’s versatile Magic Seats.
Offering both 'fold-flat' or 'flip-up' seat flexibility, the HR-V can adapt depending on the cargo space you require.
