Kia Expands Its EV Lineup With Three Exciting New Models

Kia continues to make waves in the electric vehicle (EV) world with the unveiling of three exciting new models: the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2.

These models, launched at Kia’s 2025 EV Day in Tarragona, Spain, showcase the brand’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. Including a sleek saloon, a compact SUV, and a versatile business-focused EV, Kia's latest lineup offers something for everyone.

Kia’s first electrified saloon and hatchback: The EV4

The Kia EV4, first introduced as a concept in 2023, is now entering the electric saloon and hatchback category. Designed to complement Kia’s award-winning EV6 and EV9, the EV4 offers an innovative yet familiar driving experience that strives to make the adoption of EVs easier. It caters to a diverse range of customers with cutting-edge technology, stylish design, and outstanding performance.

A vision for accessible EVs: The Concept EV2

The Kia Concept EV2 previews an upcoming B-segment SUV, reinforcing Kia’s mission to make EV ownership accessible to more drivers. While still in the concept stage, this vehicle promises to deliver high-end features and practicality at an affordable price.

The future of customisable mobility: The PV5

One of the most groundbreaking models showcased was the Kia PV5, the first dedicated vehicle from Kia’s new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy. Designed for both personal and business use, the PV5 features radical modularity, meaning customers can customise it to fit their needs. Whether it's the Cargo variant for deliveries, the Passenger model for ride-sharing, or even a Wheelchair Access Vehicle (WAV) version, the PV5 is built for versatility.

Kia’s future vision

Kia’s 2025 EV Day wasn’t just about unveiling new modelsit was about showcasing the brand’s vision for the future of EVs. In partnership with Samsung Electronics, Kia introduced SmartThings Pro, an Internet of Things (IoT) system designed to enhance productivity and convenience for business users.
