- The new hybrid model replaces the outgoing petrol MG3

Say hello to the all-new MG3 Hybrid+. This supermini will replace the current MG3, with design, interior, and powertrain updates.
Read on for all you need to know about the MG3 Hybrid+.
The new model boasts several styling upgrades that give it a clean and contemporary look. Body creases on each side enhance its appearance. A ‘shark nose’ front end provides a slightly pointed and streamlined finish, evoking a sense of dynamism.
Overall, it’s a fantastic looking compact car. It’s longer and wider than the outgoing MG3, giving it plenty of presence on the roads.

The inside of the MG3 Hybrid+ is spacious, welcoming, and high-quality. The cabin features elements from the popular MG4 EV - a seven-inch digital driver’s display and squared-off steering wheel.
The 10.25-inch infotainment screen sits in the centre of the dash and has a wealth of connectivity features to keep you and your passengers happy. The system itself is new and extremely easy to use. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera, and sat nav all come as standard, which is impressive for a model of this price.

A boot capacity of 293 litres should provide ample room for everyday items, including shopping, luggage, and any extra bits.
There is just one powertrain option available with the new model. The 1.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor provide 191hp and 250Nm of torque, delivering a fuel economy of 64mpg. This makes the MG3 Hybrid+ a responsive and nippy car that feels at home in urban settings. Plus, it’s a self-charging system which means there’s no need to plug in.
The all-new MG3 Hybrid+ is available in two trims: SE, and Trophy. MG is dedicated to providing plenty of equipment as standard. Therefore, you should get a generous package even with entry-level models.
SE trims start from £18,495 OTR, with Trophy versions starting at £20,495 OTR.
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Autonomous Emergency Braking
Trophy trim highlights:
- Heated seats
- Heated steering wheel
- 360-degree camera
