Honda Incorrect Time Clock Issue
Honda Clock Issue Update: 18th November 2022
A change in the GRPS signal in August 2022 has resolved the displayed date and time error. The displayed date and time will now remain as set and not reset with every ignition cycle.
Due to complexity of development the feature of automatic adjustment of the clock for daylight saving time will no longer function. However, the clock can be adjusted manually, see Clock adjustment Method section below.
Honda Manual Clock Adjustment
Please refer to Navigation owners manual for "Clock Adjustment" complete procedure, example below:
Step 1: Click Menu button
Step 2: Press Setting on top right of the screen
Step 3: Press the number 2 on top right of the screen
Step 4: Press Clock Settings
Step 5: Press Clock Adjustment
Step 6: Set Auto Summer Time from ON to OFF on the Set Clock screen
Step 7: Adjust clock manually
Step 8: Press Done

You may have noticed that the navigation system and heater control displays the incorrect time on your Honda vehicle. This issue also affects the navigation route guidance.
On the 2nd January 2022, the GPS time signal format changed and was incorrectly judged, resulting in a display error.
The options to overcome this issue are currently being studied and investigated further by the Honda technical department. Once a fix for this issue is available, we will be able to assist further. If you are affected, please contact your local Vertu Honda dealership. We’ll ensure that you are kept in the loop and provided any updates as soon as we receive them from Honda UK.
Typically, this issue is affecting Honda models which are at least 20 years old, as well as some equipped with AVN navigation systems. However, the full affected model list is still under investigation.
Please note: Do not attempt to replace the navigation hardware to resolve this issue.
