Brothers Vye For Pole Position At Vertu Mercedes-Benz Slough

Two motor-mad brothers are vying for pole position after both becoming Apprentice Technicians at Vertu Mercedes-Benz Slough.

Zac Errington, the younger brother of Max Errington - who was named as the Mercedes-Benz Apprentice of the Year 2022 - is now set to embark on an exciting journey alongside his brother at the dealership.

As part of Max’s prize for being selected as Mercedes-Benz Apprentice of the Year, Max Errington enjoyed a stint with the manufacturer’s F1 team at the British Grand Prix.

His brother Zac has been inspired to follow in his wake, joining the dealership as an apprentice in the same department where Max found award-winning success.

Raj Virdee, General Manager of Vertu Mercedes-Benz Slough, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Zac Errington, brother of our very own Max Errington, to the team. He knows he has big shoes to fill, but if he has the same enthusiasm and willingness to learn as his brother, he will be a great asset to the business.

“The growth and success of our team depend on the passion and dedication of younger generations coming through, and Zac represents that future. Apprentices like him are crucial for the continued excellence of Mercedes-Benz and the Group, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to everything we do.”

Max Errington, welcomed his brother to the team saying: “I’m incredibly proud of Zac for securing this apprenticeship. He has an extra advantage because he can lean on me for advice outside of work, as I completed my apprenticeship in 2022 and I am now pushing to be the next systems technician at Mercedes Benz of Slough so he will have to go some to catch me!

“It’s a great environment to work and learn in. Everyone at the dealership is really helpful and we have some colleagues with a lot of experience.”

Zac said: “Seeing Max do so well has been a huge inspiration for me. We’ve both always been really interested in cars and especially Mercedes-Benz. I’m excited to get stuck in and learn from the best.”

Zac will be surrounded by a supportive team of colleagues, ready to guide him through his apprenticeship. The dealership is confident that Zac will thrive in this environment, contributing to the ongoing success and innovation at Vertu Mercedes-Benz Slough.
