Audi Announces Pricing and Specs for New Audi A5 Range
The range will replace current A4 and A5 lines in the UK, with prices starting from £41,950.

- Both introduce the latest generation of TFSI and TDI engines.
Earlier this year, Audi confirmed the release of the new A5 range and now full pricing, and specs have been announced. The range is set to replace the current A4 and A5 lines in the UK and is now available to order, with the first orders arriving in November.
The range includes the A5 Saloon and Avant, with Sport, S line, and Edition 1 trim levels. However, Avant will be offered exclusively in Edition 1. Prices start from £41,950 OTR for the A5 Saloon and £43,850 for the A5 Avant.
Dynamic design
Externally, the dynamic design features a low, sporty silhouette and short overhangs. Large wheels are also framed by Audi Ur quattro style blisters.
S line models are instantly recognisable with red rhombus badging and privacy glass. As well as 19” 5-twin-B-spoke wheels.
While the top-of-the-range Edition 1 model features 20” Audi Sport alloy wheels, red brake callipers and a black styling pack.
State-of-the-art engines
The new A5 range uses the latest generation TFSI petrol and TDI diesel engines. Choose from two TFSI petrol engines in either 150PS or 204PS. With an additional 2.0 litre TDI engine in 204PS also available.
Avant also offers a newly developed 3.0 litre V6 TFSI engine. The 2.0 litre TDI and 3.0 litre V6 TFSI are also setting a new standard for partially electrified engines. Both use the new 48-volt MHEV plus system which sets a benchmark for efficiency and responsiveness.
WLTP cycle tests have shown that CO2 emissions have been reduced by 10g/km in the TDI engines, and up to 17g/km in TFSI engines.
Improved driver assistance and technology features
Safety and convenience are boosted in the new Audi A5 range with the addition of several new features. Edition 1 models feature a top-view camera and a lane change assistant for safely switching lanes on multi-lane roads.
