A Vehicle Tour of The Audi e-tron GT
Audi’s first fully-electric sportscar, the e-tron GT is quite remarkable. It has athletic looks and the exciting performance to match – both in terms of driving power and charging power.
The all-electric coupe is classically Gran Turismo, with expressive design, revolutionary technology – and this time with a confident electric performance.

Exterior
The e-tron GT has an unmistakable Audi design which is bound to turn heads. The sleek lines which look like they’ve been shaped by the wind aren’t just for show – it’s all part of the aerodynamic engineering, which helps to increase range.
At the front, Matrix LED lights sit on either side of the wide, flat bonnet, and the large single frame grille and blister flared wheel arches set a commanding presence.
Moving around the vehicle, you’ll find hidden charging points on either side; one of which is suitable for home charging, and the other for rapid DC charging. These are tucked away behind discreet flaps.
All around the vehicle, aerodynamically optimised shapes become functional. From intelligent air inlets at the front to vented wheel arches and a striking rear diffuser.
Interior
Inside the Audie e-tron GT, you’ll feel immediately relaxed.
The comfortable cabin has five seats. In the rear, passengers will have plenty of knee, leg and headroom, there’s easy access to air conditioning controls, and the outer seats are heated.
In the front, a futuristic 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit instrument display and a 10.1-inch central touchscreen provide important information at a touch.
A panoramic glass sunroof floods the interior with light, giving a truly spacious feeling throughout. There’s a roomy 405 litres of space in the boot, so you’ll have plenty of room to carry your belongings.
Plus, the e-tron GT’s sustainability isn’t just limited to its electric engine. Throughout the cabin, an array of responsibly sourced materials have been used, such as ‘vegan leather’, and recycled wood, all exceptionally finished as you’d expect from Audi.
Driving Performance
The Audi e-tron GT has two electric motors, one which drives the front wheels and one which drives the rear wheels, making it a four-wheel drive.
Two powertrain options are available for the standard Audi e-tron quattro trim:
- The 390kW, 93 kWh battery delivers 530bhp and a range of 296 miles.
- The 475kW, 93 kWh battery delivers 646bhp and a range of 283 miles.
The Vorsprung trim comes with the 390kW, 93 kWh battery which provides 530bhp and 298 miles of rang.
A 270kW rapid charge can give the car 62 miles of range in just 6 minutes and the battery can also be charged from 5-80% in 23 minutes.
The e-tron GT has a speedy acceleration and can tackle 0-62mph in just 4.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 152 mph.
