Honda Extended Guarantee

Enjoy your new car for longer with a Honda Extended Guarantee. You can start your Extended Guarantee at any period up to eight years old. The guarantee can also be started when your three-year or 90,000-mile manufacturer warranty period is over – the choice is yours.

The Extended Guarantee can be tailored to your needs with the option of 12, 24, or 36 months coverage. Another great benefit is the longer the cover, the more you can save.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there different guarantee options available?

You can choose from 12, 24 or 36 months coverage (subject to vehicle availability). If you take out longer coverage, you can save more.

Who are repairs carried out by?

Any repairs under the Honda guarantee must be carried out by a Honda authorised retailer. Our manufacturer trained technicians here at Vertu can take care of the repairs and know your car best.

What will happen if my car is off the road?

If your car is off the road for more than eight hours due to an authorised repair, you can claim up to five days car hire. This is up to a maximum of £40 per day (including VAT) after the first 24 hours.

What happens if I breakdown away from home?

If your car is undergoing an authorised repair for more than 24 hours and you are away from home, you can claim one night’s hotel accommodation. This is up to £150 (including VAT).

What will happen if I breakdown in Europe?

The cost of most repairs in Europe is covered by your Honda Extended Guarantee. Simply pay for the repair and reclaim the cost when you return home.

What will happen if I sell my car?

Your Honda Extended Guarantee can be transferred to the new owner if you sell the vehicle privately. To do this, a fee of £15 is required.

How can I maintain my Honda Extended Guarantee?

All you need to do is service your vehicle at an authorised Honda retailer in line with the recommended servicing schedule.

Terms and conditions

This Honda Extended Guarantee Plan is an Agreement made between you the Customer, the Retailer and Honda (UK) in respect of the Vehicle identified on the schedule at the Purchase Date of the Plan. The Customer as named on the schedule, or such other subsequent Private Owner to whom the benefit of the Agreement is validly transferred in accordance with section 8.
